This post will focus on the members of the Sheldon family, as mentioned yesterday.
They were the sons of Stephen Joseph and Florence Evelyn Sheldon, who lived at 67 Brickkiln Street in 1891. Florence died in 1899.
Sydney Edmund was born in 1891. By 1911, he was a grinder working for a nut and bolt works. He enlisted as a Private with the Royal Army Medical Corps (number 2629). He survived the war, but died in Wolverhampton in 1946 at the age of 21.
